Taking out a 401(k) loan to go on a vacation
I have $15k cash in bank but I am taking a $10k loan from my 401(k)
Going on vacation in a yacht.
I am borrowing money from myself and I will be paying myself 6% interest.
win win situation for me

No comment from me. I put 5% of my net pay to retirement a week. I go to AC twice a year with a $1000 budget each time, so i don't live large.

A/C can give you as much as 100% return you should go at least each week with 1G son!!

I wish. We stay for free each time now. so my budget on food/clothes/gambling is $1000 if i reach/lose it i can live with it. On one of my trips i lost $800 on Texas hold 'em in one day ... i made back $600 playing craps though, i almost cried.
